New Directions for Children, Youths, Adults and Families
In November 2014, the DCM Inc was worked with New Directions (ND) for Children, Youths, Adults and Families group to go to the Winnipeg Folk Festival in July 2014 and provided by Fire Safety workshop in Fall 2014. DCM Inc. was in partnership with New Directions through the Mental Health Conference. The New Directions is recognized everyone is right to belong to a family and community, as well as their right to live meaningful lives with access to personalized supports that will assist them on their journey.
The Deaf Home Supports is formerly Deaf Home Services (DHS) provides a range of services for children, youth, adults, and families whose primary language is American Sign Language (ASL). DHS is guided by the principles that individuals of all ages have the inherent right to meaningfully participate in and belong to a family, engage as active members of their community, and pursue their hopes and dreams with the necessary range of personalized supports to assist them.
