DCM Inc received funding provided by Manitoba Government through Manitoba Accessibility Fund. Honorarium fees for January 27, 2025 to May 31, 2025 according to the period following the contract agreement. Provides the honorarium fee for graphic design related to children's books and ASL story videos, DVDs, Social Media, and websites including review, feedback, suggestions, approval, and redo / samples without increasing cost.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Graphic Designer includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos, posters and books, flash banner. You'll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, and effects to better convey each concept for Children’s books, ASL Story video, DVDs, Social Media and Website.
•Ability to support assigned tasks as needed
•Time management, work flexibility, following the deadlines, on-call and respond to emails, texts or video messages/chats, and Trello app.
•Coordinating with DCM Inc Executive Director all incoming following children’s books, ASL V-News, Story video, DVDs, Social Media &
Website.

Requirements and skills:
•Proven 2 years working experiences as the Graphic Design position
•Hands on experience with MS Office, Graphic design, Social Media and Website, Visual Arts and other publishing tools.

DCM Inc received funding provided by Manitoba Government through Manitoba Accessibility Fund. Provides honorarium fee of ASL Consultant is $600 from January 27, 2025 to May 31, 2025 according to the period following the contract.

The ASL Consultant roles as check, mentor, and review on ASL Signer and story video, feedback, suggestion, approval, and ask for redo story video without any increase cost (up to 1200 words following 5 children’s books) including ASL signer works on translating children's books into story videos.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Coordinating with DCM Inc Executive Director all incoming following children’s books
•Preparations for children’s books reading and management ASL Story videos and Signers
•Role working as checking, investigating, mentoring, and give feedback included review, redo and approval and suggestion to the ASL Signers / Translators / Deaf Interpreters on Story video and/or working with ASL Story Signers on the video production at any location or Studio. Guidelines for Story videos: Communicate and clarify with the signer and team of the Story video.
•Checking the quality video setting in gadgets, smartphones, video production, editing, DVDs, and social media and website.

Requirements of the ideal Candidate:

They use specialized software applications and editing tools to merge content from multiple sources and add pictures & graphics, ASL video, visual effects (voice, sound effects, and music if necessary).
• Checking the quality video setting in gadgets, outfits, smartphones, video production and editing Deaf & Deaf-Blind friendly. ASL Stories Video exports into Online and DVDs and ASL V-News / Vlog into DRC Social Media Platform, and website.
